Description
Qigong (pronounced roughly “chee-gong”) is a traditional Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, posture, and focused attention. The word roughly means “cultivating or working with qi (energy/vitality).” Join us for an introduction to Qigong. Experience the balance of movement and stillness in this 60-minute class designed to harmonize body and mind. Through the slow, flowing movements of Qigong, you'll cultivate energy, release tension, and reconnect with yourself. Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines movement, meditation, and controlled breathing to cultivate and balance qi (your life energy). It's used for health, relaxation, and calming a busy mind. No prior experience needed, and all ages and abilities are welcome. Every movement can be done seated. Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
