Join us for YPL’s Seasonal Cookbook Club! York Public Library boasts a deliciously diverse collection of cookbooks. Each season we’ll dive into one of them and bring its recipes to life! Limited to 10 spots so register today. Fall Cookbook Selection = Modern Comfort Food, by Ina Garten Every registrant selects a recipe from that month’s book, prepares it at home, and brings it to share with the group. It’s part tasting, part show-and-tell, and all about good food and laughs. Come hungry for food and conversation—and maybe leave with a few new favorite recipes! For planning purposes, please register in advance. Ingredients: - Recipe - Select one From the Main Library Circulation desk Cookbook of the Month (mark it with a provided sticky note!) - Serving Utensils Instructions: - Step 1: Register for the program on YPL's event calendar (There is limited availability so act fast!) - Step 2: Visit the Main Library Circulation desk and choose a recipe from the cookbook. (No alcoholic drinks - sorry!) - Step 3: Prepare the recipe exactly as written in the book. - Step 4: Bring your dish in to share! (YPL will provide the plates cups and utensils. All you need to bring is serving utensils!) Things to remember: The library does not have a way to reheat food so remember that when choosing a dish!
